“I cannot tell you the number of times I heard “Don’t stress the small stuff.” or “If something is wrong nobody else will know it.” and while all of this advice can be helpful, you still think about the small stuff leading up to that day. When I thought about the day of my wedding, I knew I needed to be surrounded by grounded, calm, and flexible women. The intensity and amount of emotions I felt that morning are hard to describe. Kaelyn was one of the first people I saw that morning... and I’m so thankful for that. She was punctual and pleasant. Who is pleasant and put together when you have to wake up at 4:00 am? Kaelyn. Makeup and hair can set the vibe for your day. All my girls were done early and beautifully which made the morning flow so nicely. We never felt rushed by them or by time. She let me laugh. She let me tear up. She calmed my nerves. She made me feel beautiful. I could never pay her enough for that. On top of this, she really listens to what you want. This girl can do some amazing artistry and wholeheartedly captures what you want. I am still in awe of her work as we look through our wedding photos. She didn’t let me “sweat that small stuff” because was a big part of the team that made for such a successful day. Booking Kaelyn was easily one of the best wedding day decisions I made. She set the tempo for the best day of my life. We are so lucky to have worked with her! ”

“Kaelyn is a professional, easy-going, talented, and friendly makeup artist. I had been thinking about doing my own makeup for my wedding but was glad that I made the investment to have her come out to our site for makeup application. Especially because I also don’t put on a lot of makeup on a daily basis. She was on time and didn’t rush to get everyone done, because I know she had a family commitment later. I had been expecting a straightforward makeup trial, but during the trial, I had told her what I didn’t like, and she redid them until I was satisfied with the results. My trial was 4 months prior to my wedding, and she still completed the makeup the same, if not better! She started my makeup at 10 am, and at midnight, I still looked great, which lasted through rain and sweat. I even cried during our first look, and the mascara didn’t budge. As a minimalist makeup wearer, I didn’t want to be too made up, but enough to show in pictures, and I think she nailed it. I got so many compliments that night, even that I looked like a movie star. I was very satisfied with her work and would go back to her if I needed a makeup application for another special event. ”

“From Beginning to End Kaelyn was absolutely amazing. She put up with my indecisiveness during our trial run and took the time to get the exact look I was going for (and then some). Kaelyn made me feel comfortable and assured my nerves that everything would be what I wanted. I could not imagine my wedding without having her. She made me feel (and look like) my absolute best. The Makeup stayed throughout the long day (10 am-12 am) and my sweating. I don’t think I had a bad picture taken because of her work! I would highly recommend her, she is extremely talented!”

Kaelyn made my girls and I look flawless!! She was SOOO GREAT to work with and super helpful! She even sent me personalized lip color suggestions when I was debating what to do and couldn't make up my mind. She's on time, coordinates everything to make sure everyone is ready on time and listens to you during your trial for what you like and don't like. I had a 12-hour wedding day and my airbrush makeup lasted all day and I got SOOO many compliments that I still looked like myself and glammed up for our big day! Highly recommend!

“Kaelyn is absolutely amazing! From start to finish she was professional, organized, accommodating and so talented! Kaelyn took her time at my trial to make sure we achieved the exact look I wanted, when I arrived at her home she had my Pinterest board up on her computer in her studio! She went over different daily products and things I could be doing at home to have my skin in the best shape possible for my big day. Kaelyn created beautiful custom looks for all of my bridesmaids that had even our guests commenting on how fabulous we all looked. I asked her to find me a lipstick that was similar to the look she created for me so I had something for touch-ups for photos. Kaelyn did the research found a shade that matched perfectly and brought it to me the day of my wedding! Her pricing is extremely affordable and she’s wonderful to work with! So if your looking for someone to do makeup for you on your big day there is no question about whom to use. It’s definitely Kaelyn! ”

“Wow! What can I start with. From the moment I contacted Kaelyn she was very enthusiastic and helpful. She had so much energy and understanding to answer any of my questions about the big day. When Kaelyn and I were talking about the trial, she even offered to come to me and do my makeup since it was before our engagement photos. I thought that was very thoughtful and went above and beyond her job. I was the bride and had Kaelyn do all my bridesmaids makeup plus my mom. She brought an assistant with her and they worked effortlessly hand in hand. Having our makeup done was a special experience for all of us and I am so glad I decided to book it. I really felt like a princess on my special day and it wouldn’t have been the same without her. Her makeup style is simple and beautiful. “Kaelyn was beyond amazing. For me, makeup is VERY important...because it completes your look. However, I know very little about makeup so I was very intimidated about getting it done. Kaelyn did a wonderful job listening to what I wanted and helped me figure out how to get it. She was patient and never got frustrated when I asked her to redo something (I’m very picky...but it takes me a while to figure out what I want...). My makeup stayed ALL day even though I cried (a lot) and was out in the hot sun for hours. What’s more, all of my bridesmaids were happy. I have many girls who like minimalist makeup looks, and Kaelyn respected their wishes which were so appreciated. If you want to feel beautiful all day on your wedding day, I would absolutely recommend Kaelyn. Plus...she is super fun. During the trial and the day of, I was laughing so hard while hanging out with her. I’d give her 6 stars if I could. ”

Kaelyn traveled to our ceremony site with ALL of her tools and transformed us girls (including my mom and 4-year-old daughter) into stunning beauties! “If you are looking for an affordable, professional, friendly, and talented makeup artist... Kaelyn is your girl! I can’t say enough good things about her. “I was so pleased with the makeup that Kaelyn did for myself, my bridal party, and my mother for my wedding day! Everyone looked absolutely stunning! Prior to my trial, Kaelyn asked me to share any pictures and ideas I had of my vision for the look that I wanted for my wedding day, and carried out this vision flawlessly. During the trial, she even took the time to show me products that would work well with my skin and told me that I could contact her at any time before or after the wedding to ask her for advice, which I have definitely taken advantage of! Even though I had a large bridal party and a tight schedule to stick to on the morning of the wedding, she listened to each girl’s vision and made sure to carry them out so that each girl looked exactly how she wanted. Kaelyn was also wonderful to work with because she is a wonderful communicator. She made sure to provide all pertinent information about the trial and wedding day upfront in a very clear manner and answered any individual questions that I came up with via email very timely. Kaelyn at MyFairMakeup Artistry did a phenomenal job with the makeup for my wedding! Not only did she and her assistant knock out 10 bridesmaids, 2 mothers and the bride, but the makeup was flawless and lasted all night long (even after a LOT of dancing)! I have been to or involved in at least 4 weddings where Kaelyn was the makeup artist and she knocks it out of the park each time. I hope to be in her chair for all future weddings!

Kaelyn is INCREDIBLE! Not to toot my own horn, but I had no idea I could look so beautiful. Kaelyn is talented and kind. I really know nothing about makeup, and gave her no direction other than "make me look pretty." She did. During the trial, Kaelyn did my makeup two different ways to see what looked best. I have tons of allergies and she was very sensitive to that. My wedding party was large, so Kaelyn brought another makeup artist with her who was also amazing.

I am so very grateful to Kaelyn for taking the time to travel for our out-of-town wedding! Not only did she take time away from her busy work schedule she also was multitasking as a new mother to her baby boy Deklan who was only a couple of months old at the time of our wedding day. Kaelyn is personable, professional, and exceptionally talented. I am extremely picky with makeup and have super high standards, so I spent a lot of time researching makeup artists. When I found Kaelyn's portfolio, I knew I had to hire her, and she did not disappoint! Somehow she actually exceeded all of my expectations! Kaelyn was AMAZING to work with! Not only was she prompt and quick to respond via email when we first began our correspondence, but she answered ALL of my many questions and never made me feel stupid for asking any of them. The trial was awesome and made me feel so much better about the day of. The day ran smoothly and all of my bridesmaids absolutely loved Kaelyn. They all said it felt like she was just another girlfriend hanging out with us. She came so prepared and we didn't have to do anything but relax as she pampered us. Kaelyn was wonderful to work with from start to finish. I felt like I was talking to a friend about makeup, she made me feel so comfortable but was also extremely professional. I was hesitant to spend so much money on just makeup...but she is worth every penny. I spoke to her on the phone for a while before I even decided to hire her. Then, she met with me in person for an hour to chat about what I wanted and my vision for the day. She spent 2 hours doing my trial makeup, taking the time to let me try different lip colors and explaining the process as we went. The day of I got so many compliments about my makeup! Kaelyn really puts the time in to get to know you and truly cares and enjoys what she does. Would hire her again in a heartbeat.
